| Mark Sheldon |
| Mark is a relative newcomer to the wonderful world of acting and filmmaking. He only stepped in front of a camera for the first time in the summer of 2010 for a United Way commercial, but his love affair with the craft started much earlier. As a child he worried his parents with his scarily accurate portrayals of Living Color skits. Everything from "Homey the Clown" to "Men on Film" were played out by Mark to the amusement of no one but himself. He soon moved on to more ambitious imitations, and to this day he can be found working on his one man Spaceballs stage show. But life has a way of moving too quickly for some people, and dreams of acting were replaced by realities like rent payments and getting medical benefits. Just when life couldn't get any duller, Mark met the love of his life.....Caitlin. She did something for him no one had ever done before, she encouraged him to follow his dreams. Through a connection at work Mark was able to audition for and get a part in a United Way commercial. Then while at the NYComicCon he heard about Edge Studio in Manhattan, which offers training programs in voice acting. This sounded perfect for Mark as he had been told throughout his life that he had the perfect face for radio! He has since enrolled in a program and recently recorded his first professional demo. Through his friendship at work with Alex Santos, Mark was introduced to Feenix Films and now hopes to learn anything and everything about filmmaking from this talented ensemble. Though most of his time is spent at 2 jobs to pay for the dream wedding his love deserves, Mark is looking forward to following her encouragement and pursuing this dream opportunity. check out Mark's demo at http://voice123.com/marksheldon |
